You Smell Lovely, Darling.

There’s a new cologne on the market, and it’s sushi scent.
I know what you’re thinking- why would you pay $39.50 to smell like a bucket of fish when you could go
down to your local harbor and roll around in the daily catch? Rest assured, you won’t be confused with
a fisherman in a blind sniff test; According to the cologne’s website, “Demeter's Sushi is the fresh scent
of just cooked sticky rice and straight from the seaside seaweed, laced with hints of ginger and lemon
Right. So, I’m sure it smells lovely, because sushi is a treat, but every time I try to picture what it smells
like I think of that time in the second grade when my dad came into my class to present about how
some whales filter feed and I opened that bag of krill on a dare and the whole class had to evacuate because
of the smell. It was less-than-lovely, to say the least.
In any case, I’ll be holding out on my big purchase for when they come out with eau du California Roll.
