Congratulations, Gavin Lewis, winner of the Go Fish! Video Contest People's Choice Award!

Gavin Lewis’ Grand Prize-winning video, “We Need Fish” was chosen on its quality, editing and content. This animated short was well executed, extremely creative and conveyed the importance of seafood sustainability. Gavin, a 9-year old ocean advocate, started www.rescuingtheocean.com when he was 6. He has already been proclaimed a youth ambassador for Dawn Champions, and has raised money for ocean non-profits such as Surfrider. He is a true ocean champion.

The Science and Communications Integrated Club at Fullerton college won with their extraordinarily creative look at seafood use through the decades, entitled, "Overfishing."

Shaping the Future: "Seafood Story"

Wendy Milette gave a group of children from the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach the opportunity to work on their first film, a wonderfully creative and educational stop animation production.

All of the submissions were creative, original and raised awareness about the importance of sustainable seafood. Picking winners was difficult, and we salute all who participated. Congratulations to all winners, and thank you to everyone who participated!
